The Beyond Breakfast Foundation

More Than Breakfast — Mentorship, Structure, and Leadership for the Next Generation.

The Beyond Breakfast Foundation helps young men and women ages 8–24 grow through mentorship, journaling, academic support, accountability, leadership training, community service, and in-person student support.

Our Mission

We build more than hunger relief — we strengthen identity, discipline, and resilience.

The Beyond Breakfast Foundation is a mentorship-based nonprofit focused on access, support, structure, and youth development. We provide mentorship to young men and women, focusing on academic excellence, self-discipline, self-development, and resilience through one complete structured program.

Journaling

Structured writing prompts that help youth process emotions, set goals, and build self-awareness through guided reflection.

Discussion

Facilitated conversations around leadership, identity, discipline, and real-world challenges in a supportive group setting.

Meal availability may vary by event, location, staffing, sponsorship, and program capacity.

Voices from Our Community

Real stories from the people whose lives have been touched.

Before this program, I didn't think anyone cared about what I had to say. My mentor showed me that my voice matters — and now I use it every day.

Jaylen, Age 15

Mentee

The journaling sessions changed how I handle my anger. Instead of acting out, I write it down. My grades went from D's to B's in one semester.

Deshawn, Age 13

Mentee

I came in lost after high school — no plan, no direction. My mentor helped me build a resume, land an internship, and now I'm applying to community college.

Aisha, Age 21

Mentee

I was skeptical at first, but seeing my son wake up excited about journaling and community projects — that's something I never expected. This program changed our family.

Tasha W.

Parent

As a single mom, I needed help reaching my daughter. The mentors here gave her a voice and gave me peace of mind knowing she's safe and growing.

Volunteering here isn't just giving back — these young people teach me more about resilience and determination every single week.
