Agreement
By volunteering with the Beyond Breakfast Foundation, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms. This waiver is a condition of volunteering and must be accepted before participating in any volunteer activities.
Assumption of Risk
You understand that volunteer activities may involve physical activity, travel to various locations, interaction with youth and community members, and exposure to weather and environmental conditions. You voluntarily assume all risks associated with these activities.
Release of Liability
You release and discharge the Beyond Breakfast Foundation, its officers, directors, employees, mentors, and other volunteers from any and all liability for injuries, damages, or losses arising from your volunteer activities, except in cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Code of Conduct
As a volunteer, you agree to: treat all participants, staff, and fellow volunteers with dignity and respect; follow all safety protocols and organizational policies; maintain confidentiality regarding participant information; refrain from the use of drugs, alcohol, or tobacco during program activities; and report any concerns, incidents, or policy violations immediately.
Background Check Authorization
Volunteers who work directly with minors must authorize and pass a criminal background check. This is a non-negotiable requirement for the safety of our participants.
Termination
The Beyond Breakfast Foundation reserves the right to terminate a volunteer’s service at any time for any violation of this agreement or organizational policies.
